History:
PITCHES AND SCREAMS (also known as Pitches) was an local trio band from Taguig City, Philipines that played Pop Punk, Punk rock, Alternative, Britpop and Retro music due to their individual influences. The band was originally formed in June 2007 as Pitchmilk to Pitches and Screams by Raul Babor (vocals and guitar), Kim Oplida (bass) and Mark Perez (drums and additional vocals). They played Blink 182, Green Day, Fall Out Boy covers and currently they have original songs such as Testimony of the Broken Hearted Loser, Escape From Charlotte's Web, Sick and Tired, Valeria, and tagalog song called Lab Istori (Love Story) with dark message about angst in love, sex and environment. It made Raul Babor as the main songwriter of the band. Pitches and Screams have drawn influence from other sources, including Blink 182, Green Day, The Cure, The Beatles, Queen, New Found Glory, Blur, and Story of the Year.
